I was also struggling with this (although obviously a lot longer than you). Similar things happening: highly motivated beforehand, covid happened, got long covid and I've been struggling ever since. I tried all the things, knew all the reasons but still couldn't get into a regular routine. I was doing something, but gradually losing fitness as it just wasn't enough. I finally worked out I like following streaks - give me a goal of maintaining a streak and I'm in. My goal is now to consistently go to the gym twice a week, and I'm doing it. Eight weeks in, and I'm determined not to break the streak. It has literally been the only thing that has got me me there some days, and I'm proud that I'm doing it. And the thing with streaks is the longer they go, the harder they are to break.
As someone said to me, find your strength and use it 😊.
